The main objective of this role is to optimize production processes and develop technical solutions that support efficiency, quality, and sustainability in metal processing operations (casting and machining). The position combines responsibilities from both Industrial Engineering and Process Engineering, with a strong focus on continuous improvement and operational performance.

- Analyze and optimize production flows and shop floor layouts.
- Develop and update work standards and time studies.
- Define, document, and improve technological processes for casting and machining.
- Identify and implement measures to reduce waste (time, material, energy).
- Coordinate time studies, work method analysis, and ergonomics evaluations.
- Provide technical support for the launch of new products and equipment.
- Actively participate in problem-solving activities and corrective actions (8D, 5Why, Ishikawa, etc.).
- Apply Lean Manufacturing tools (5S, Kaizen, SMED, VSM) to improve processes.
- Support the digitalization of processes and the integration of automation solutions where applicable.
- Collaborate closely with Quality, Production, and Maintenance teams to ensure process stability.

- Bachelor's degree in a technical field: Industrial, Mechanical, Mechatronics Engineering, or similar.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in metal processing (casting & machining).
- Solid knowledge of manufacturing processes and industrial optimization.
- Experience with Lean / Six Sigma methodologies – an advantage.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and process specifications.
- Good command of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint); experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and CAD software is a plus.
- Strong analytical thinking, solution-oriented mindset, and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- English – intermediate to advanced level (written and spoken).
