We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Manufacturing Manager to oversee and optimize our production processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in lean manufacturing and continuous improvement, ensuring operational excellence in production, logistics, and maintenance. This role requires leadership, strategic planning, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives related to safety, quality, delivery, inventory and profitability.

General & Task Management
- Effectively and efficiently manage production to meet daily, weekly, and monthly targets in line with customer specifications, quality expectations, and cost minimisation by using and living LEAN principles.
- Be part and leader of cross functional teams to proceed e.g. KAIZEN Events and problem solving.
- Push further implementation of next steps LEAN tools for improvements in all areas.
- Take ownership of your targets and projects and try to fulfil with rigor and enthusiasm
- Conduct risk assessments of processes and tasks, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental policies.
- Review and manage capacity constraints related to manpower and equipment.
- Periodically review and report operational performance to top management.
- Take ownership of achieving both economic and strategic goals within the division.
- Work closely with other departments to optimize overall business performance.
People Management- Manage a team of approximately 160 employees, fostering a lean mind-set.
- Transfer responsibility and expect accountability to develop an army of problem solvers in production
- Motivate and coach teams for operational success, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Monitor task completion, ensuring accurate performance tracking.
- Lead the hiring, training, and development of shop floor employees.
- Ensure alignment with the company’s People Strategy within the production function.

- Delivery: Ensure that our customer receives the products ordered on time
- Inventory: By developing shortest lead times, constant product quality and high OEE we reduce our inventory

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Strong understanding of continuous improvement tools (Lean, Six Sigma certification preferred).
- In-depth knowledge of LEAN methods and demonstrable success in this area
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both German & English
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Assertive personality with commitment and vision
- Strong organisational, planning, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments to achieve operational goals.
Required Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Management.
- Minimum of 5 years of management experience in a comparable manufacturing role within a production environment characterised by complex and challenging processes.
- Experience in metal-based manufacturing is preferred but not essential.
