  • We seek a highly skilled Sales Officer who could create lead to bring in new customers and handle key customers. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in driving the company's sales growth and expanding its market presence. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, managing client relationships, and achieving sales targets. Your ability to understand customer needs, present tailored solutions, and close deals will directly impact our revenue and market positioning.

    • Carry out NBD tasking in line with the Sales Strategy outlined
    • Collating forecasting intelligence and data to be shared with cross functional teams and tracking progress on a weekly basis
    • Generate New Business Development (NBD) plan and produce lead-gen opportunities with potential customers (working alongside the NBD Manager)
    • Work closely with the engineering department on costing, technical clarifications and quote proposals
    • Attend potential customer meetings at the Coimbatore plant or at the customer location ((Nationally) as and when required 
    • Co-ordinate and chair NBD remote exploratory calls using the Company Presentation
    • Assist the Coimbatore plant internal teams and key stakeholders in New Product Development (NPD) activities at critical stages on newly won customers only
    • Manage a NBD potential project from the customer standpoint, co-ordinating and managing tasks and resolving and completing key actions
    • Support the production teams on customer forecasting intelligence and provide accurate visibility data for planning purposes
    • Work with the Sales Manager to formulate a medium/long term sales strategy both in terms of potential customer growth, market penetration and focus areas for business sustainability 
    • Work with the Sales Manager on establishing quarterly strategic planning wrt the ‘Objective Key Result’ program for the US Warsaw plant
    • Attend key internal review meetings on departmental and management company performance assessment and alignments
    • Support the Sales Manager on data analysis (quotes won, lost etc) and present to key stakeholders to educate and improve
    • Attend trade show and/or customer conferences (Nationally)

    • Education: Bachelor’s degree, Preferably Masters in Business Administration
    • Experience: Minimum of 5-6 years of experience Sales Strategy/Business development
    • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet strict deadlines. Persistence is a key character quality for this role.
    • Understanding of Microsoft Office products; Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills is a must.
    • Excellent written & communication skills, including good customer service/phone skills and flexibility for handling a wide range of activities.
    • Good decision making, analytical and problem-solving skills – ability to work as a team and autonomously to make critical decisions
